San Huang San   $12.97

San Huang San means ‘Three Yellows Powder’ because the three most important ingredients are a beautiful golden color. It is a famous effective poultice commonly used for acute stage sinew and bone injuries with swelling, pain, and redness. It is an important alternative to ice, which unfortunately inhibits natural healing and can cause serious problems down the road, such as tendon and muscle weakness and susceptibility to reinjury in the future. San Huang San is very cold in nature, so it is perfect for reducing inflammation, swelling, and pain associated with acute injury. San Haung San is so cold in nature that it is not recommended to use for longer than three days.

Unlike ice packs, SHS increases local circulation while reducing heat and pain, accelerating the natural healing process. Try applying this as a poultice instead of ice and see the difference!

Gently massage into the skin or for more severe injuries, coat the area thickly with San Huang San and cover with gauze or a paper towel and fix in place with an elastic bandage or gauze roll.  Keep the bandage loose enough to allow good circulation but tight enough to ensure it is snug against the skin.
