"So much of what we do, whether at work or at play, requires a balance between the mind as well as the body, the mental-emotional as well as the physical."
Acupuncture basically does two things. First, it helps your body heal itself so you can get back to functioning like nature intended. Second, you become more aware of what’s going on around you and inside you, physically and emotionally. Over time you become less reactive and get back to being your authentic self, making choices that are more in harmony with what's best for you.
Physically, imbalances show up in your posture. Muscle memory, what allows you to know how hard to press the brake pedal of your car, play a musical instrument or walk through your home in the dark, can also keep us stuck in a posture that prevents healthy circulation and, over time, leads to symptoms, illness or injury.
On a mental, emotional and spirit level, imbalances can manifest as getting caught in negative thinking patterns or self-limiting beliefs that create a lot of unnecessary suffering, sucking the joy from life. Reconnecting with your inner strengths (your hidden superpowers!) you can experience your unique nature in a beautiful, powerful and authentic way.
Dr. Tyme Gigliotti, D.Ac., L.Ac.
"My goal is to give patients the tools they need to reclaim their own health and well being. It's about freedom from unnecessary suffering – whether it is physical, emotional or mental. You can begin to feel better now!"
My specialty is sports acupuncture and orthopedics. Our body is a miracle, but when you're in pain it can feel more like a curse. I know firsthand what it's like to be in serious constant pain. As important as it is to get relief it's even more important to restore proper functioning and strength to prevent future injuries and other problems later in life. You don't want to end up in even more pain and suffering 20 years down the road. I promote healing and wellbeing by integrating my knowledge of anatomy and sports physiology with the traditional wisdom of Chinese Medicine that has been brilliantly refined by centuries of martial arts schools and their observant physicians.
Evaluating you thoroughly, I take the time to listen to you and your experiences, assess your posture and structural alignment and then design a customized treatment plan tailored to help you achieve your maximum personal and athletic potential and learn how take even better care of yourself. I address your physical ailments, support a more positive emotional state and help reduce the negative effects of stress.

"Tyme Gigliotti is an amazing acupuncturist as well as an outstanding human being. I have spent several years benefitting from his care. Both my physical as well as my emotional wellbeing have benefitted greatly. I trust this man completely as he quite literally saved my life. About six years ago he helped guide me through an immensely difficult health crisis. I felt deeply supported & cared for throughout."
"I was in desperate need fof intervention with a sciatic nerve problem. Tyme was able to schedule me in quickly. I was somewhat skeptical about what relief this would provide. However, within a short time my sciatic nerve was no longer a problem. Tyme was a Godsend to me. I had been having between 6 to 10 episodes of shooting sciatic pain every night, actually jolting me up out of bed. Sleep had become non-existent. Do not hesitate to contact this professional. I'm sure glad that I did!!" - Vicki
